George Rennie
Writer, Performer, Theatre Maker
Hello!
I got into theatre after dropping out of medical school and getting cast as Sally Bowles in an all queer production of Cabaret.
I subsequently trained at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, swapping Netter’s Clinical Anatomy for The Complete Works of Shakespeare, and have since performed on stages all over Europe, appeared in more short films than I can count on both hands, and entertained audiences with my performance, original songs and tightly-crafted plays across London and Edinburgh’s fringe scenes.
I have produced/co-produced four successful shows including Hamstrung, Mating in Captivity, and Up, Up, Up and Away!, and take huge pride in presenting fresh and engaging live theatre that makes people laugh, lean in and reflect.
Check the links and get to know my work.
